Eddie Parente, Al Martin, Mike Doolin -Trio

Seven 'n Seven duo/trio

"Seven 'n Seven" is Eddie Parente on seven string violin and Mike Doolin on seven string guitar, thus the name "Seven 'n Seven". This unusual combination of strings expands the range of each instrument allowing either Eddie or Mike to provide the bass line and compliment the other which keeps the music moving, while giving the effect that there are more than just two musicians. This ensemble expands to a trio with the addition of Al Martin, master Afro/Latin percussionist.

"7 n 7" plays a variety of often familiar light Jazz, Swing, Latin, Bossa Nova, an occasional Pop or Soul tune perhaps by The Beatles or Stevie Wonder done in their own style, always with a soulful groove, good feeling and desire to make people happy!

"7 n 7" can add a vocalist if needed, and is available for Weddings, Cocktail parties, Corporate events and festivals.

The Djangophiles Quartet is Eddie Parente-violin, Dave Stassens & Mike Burdette-guitars, Patrick Harry-contrabass. The music we play is a tribute to, and a continuation of the rich legacy that began with the great Belgian Gypsy guitarist Django Reinhardt and the French Jazz violinist Stephane Grappelli and "The Hot Club Of France".
